HEI Schools Expands to India with Premium Kindergarten in Gurugram
In a significant move marking its continued global expansion, HEI Schools is proud to announce a new partnership with successful Singaporean-Indian entrepreneur, Yasha Shukla, to launch a pioneering HEI Schools kindergarten in Gurugram, India. This new venture follows closely on the heels of another agreement, promising the founding of an HEI Schools kindergarten in Bangalore last fall. The latest institution is set to open its doors in August 2024, designed to host up to ca. 120 children.
HEI Schools, renowned for its curriculum and pedagogy based on Finnish educational methods and developed in collaboration with the University of Helsinki, is dedicated to fostering creativity, critical thinking, and a love for lifelong learning. Its child-centered approach, which combines physical activity, arts, and academics, is specially crafted to prepare young minds academically, socially, and emotionally for the future.
The new kindergarten in India will strictly adhere to the HEI Schools Curriculum & Pedagogy while also aligning with the National Education Policy (NEP) issued by the Government of India in 2020. The facility itself will embody the HEI Schools' award-winning design principles, featuring Nordic light wooden textures that create a calming and welcoming learning environment for young children.
"We are thrilled to partner with Yasha Shukla in bringing HEI Schools’ innovative approach to education to India. This marks a significant milestone for us as we expand our global footprint, and we are eager to contribute to the growth and development of young minds in India,"
said Inkeri Aimonen, the CEO of HEI Schools.
Yasha Shukla expressed equal enthusiasm about the collaboration, stating,
"Working together with HEI Schools is an exciting project that matches my love for changing education for the better. This partnership gives us the chance to provide children in India with a top-notch learning experience that helps grow their unique skills and gets them ready for a future full of opportunities.”
This partnership is anticipated to have a substantial positive impact on the educational landscape in India by introducing a world-class, Finnish-inspired educational approach, aligning with modern holistic education principles, fostering creativity and critical thinking, and creating a positive community impact by providing local children with access to an innovative educational program.
The partnership also represents an innovative collaboration model that blends international expertise with local knowledge, setting a new benchmark for educational endeavors in India.
