
Subcontractor for Developing Special Educational Needs program
HEI Schools is a leading research-based education company from Finland, offering unique Finland-inspired education concepts and services to private school and kindergarten operators and education organizations around the world.
To strengthen our company's offering and services for customers across the world, we are looking for an experienced subcontractor* to create special education teaching content and teacher training for its’ customers in international early childhood education settings.
What the project includes:
- Reviewing and amending HEI Schools’ existing teaching materials and resources to meet better the needs of diverse learners and inclusive early childhood education settings globally
- Collaborating with a local partner of HEI Schools running a special educational needs center in South East Asia
- Co-developing scalable SEN program, including e.g. guidelines and teaching materials
- Developing teacher training program to support the implementation of the SEN program
To succeed in this project, you’ll bring:
- Deep expertise in special education within the early childhood years
- Experience in developing special education programs and materials
- Independent working skills
- Fluent spoken and written English
- Experience from both small groups and inclusive settings is considered as a benefit
- Experience from international and/or multicultural settings is considered as a benefit
The project starts as soon as possible. Project outcomes are expected to be delivered by the end of April. Estimated work hours are ca. 140 hours. Exact scope of the project will be agreed with the service provider more in detail.
