HEI Schools, a leading education company from Finland, is pleased to announce the opening of its partner-operated HEI Schools in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, one of the first HEI Schools kindergarten in the country. The HEI Schools Ulaanbaatar River Garden will open its doors in September 2024, marking a significant milestone in the company's expansion into new territories.
The initiative to bring HEI Schools to Mongolia was spearheaded by Lejon LLC, a dedicated trading and import house specialized in children’s products, who discovered the HEI Schools concept by their own initiative in 2019. An official partnership was established shortly thereafter, with plans to introduce the innovative kindergarten model to the country in the following year. However, the global pandemic necessitated a delay in the project timeline. Early in 2024, efforts were renewed, leading to the rapid progression and successful establishment of the HEI Schools Ulaanbaatar River Garden.

The opening of this new kindergarten signifies a new era in early education for children in the region, offering them access to world-class early years education from Finland. The kindergarten premises are meticulously designed based on the notable HEI Schools Space Design principles, which incorporate wooden and natural materials throughout. The interior design is the result of extensive research on children's well-being, ensuring an environment that fosters growth, creativity, and comfort.
