HEI Schools (Helsinki International Schools Group) announced the successful inaugural opening of HEI Schools Al Khobar Golden Belt in Saudi Arabia. The ceremony, held on February 4th, was attended by notable dignitaries, including the Finnish Ambassador Ms. Anu-Eerika Viljanen, HEI Schools head office's Director of Pedagogy Ms. Karoliina Nygren, representatives from Saudi Aramco, members of the Chamber of Commerce, and core school staff.
During the event, HEI Schools CEO, Ms. Inkeri Aimonen, delivered a speech highlighting Finland’s world-renowned early education model and its potential to shape Saudi Arabia's early education landscape. “Saudi Arabia is undergoing an exciting transformation in education, aligning with Vision 2030 to build a knowledge-based economy. HEI Schools is eager to be a part of this journey. By bringing the Finnish approach to early learning into Saudi Arabia, we can help lay a strong foundation for the next generation—one that values innovation, well-being, and the joy of learning,” she stated.
HEI Schools Al Khobar Golden Belt expects to welcome over 20 pioneer families into its community. "This milestone marks a significant step in delivering high-quality early education and instilling global values in Saudi Arabia’s youth," said Ms. Nygren.
